CHU is a Columbus-based creative partner built around one idea: helping local businesses
show up online with intention. Trained in fashion, architectural, and lifestyle photography with
hands-on experience in brand development and social media strategy, CHU offers something
the Columbus market is missing — a creative partner who handles the full picture.
The "Big Three" social media platforms are Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Instagram serves as the
primary identity engine for your brand as it focuses more on engagement and brand building for a formal audience.
Facebook is the secondary focus for businesses because it hosts your local viewership. It does not have
the wide array of audience members like IG, but offers a more personalized look into your brand and furthers
the trust with your existing audience making this a validating engine. Finally, TikTok is the unicorn of the group.
This platform serves as the testing ground for new ideas; reaching an unlimited amount of people while keeping
up with (or starting trends!) make this platform a perfect awareness engine.

Hi, I'm Colin Harmon-Ulmer!
I am a Kent State Alumni who threw himself into being a tennis athlete, Phi Sigma Kappa brother, and most notably... a photographer! Through schooling, I honed multiple forms of photography such as fashion, architecture, and nature and have put them all to practice since graduating in May 2024. Further, I found a love for videography, social media marketing, and brand development as I built, rebuilt, then (you guessed it!) rebuilt this website!
